    At BTECH, we process the information provided by data subjects to manage the business relationship that connects us, in all its aspects — from executing the sales and/or service provision contract and everything it entails, to maintaining contact and sending commercial communications electronically. No automated decisions will be made based on the provided data.

    Personal data will be retained as long as our business relationship remains active, and up to five years after the last sale or end of service.

    The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of a sales and/or service contract in which you are a party.

    During the data processing period, BTECH may share your data with companies within the Barcelona Technical Group for internal administrative purposes. No other transfer will be made, unless legally required, and no data will be transferred internationally.

    Everyone has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether BTECH is processing personal data concerning them.

    Purpose 1: To maintain our contact database:
    a) As a contact person for maintaining relationships with the legal entity or organization where you work.
    b) As an individual who has contacted us to request or consult something.
    c) As a contact person for maintaining a direct relationship.

Purpose 2: To send commercial communications, including by email or equivalent electronic means, about our products and services, as well as information about events and activities, provided that you have given your authorization.

No automated decisions will be made based on the data provided.

  • a) As a contact for a legal entity or organization, data will be retained while the relationship with that entity or organization exists, and within legal timeframes for any liabilities.
  • b) As someone who has contacted us, data will be stored for up to 6 months after your inquiry is handled.
  • c) As a direct contact, data will be retained while the relationship continues and within legal retention periods.

For Purpose 2, your data will be kept unless you object to receiving further communications.

  • a) If you are a contact for an entity, the legal basis is BTECH’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • b) If you contacted us as an individual, the basis is your consent.
